Apps and data

Connect your AI phone agent to the tools you already use

A phone agent that can’t see your calendar or customer list can only take messages. Connect your apps and databases, and the agent looks things up, books, updates records and sends emails while the caller is still on the line.

  • No developer needed
  • Read or write, you choose
  • Encrypted secrets

Pick the apps your business runs on

Every integration below works with every AI agent. Mix them freely: one agent can check a Google Calendar, look up a HubSpot contact and email your manager on the same call.

How tools work

One connection, one tool, one clear job

The agent knows what each tool is for, which keeps answers accurate and permissions easy to check.

  • Choose an appSearch the list or browse by category.
  • ConnectSign in with Google, paste a token, or enter database details. The connection name becomes the tool name.
  • Choose data and fieldsPick the table or calendar, the fields the agent may use, and the fields it can search by, like phone number.
  • Review and saveTest the connection, check the summary and save. The tool is ready for any agent.
On a call

What the agent can read, create, update or remove

While the caller is still on the line, the agent uses the tool, gets the answer and carries on the conversation.

Read
Looks something up: free times in a calendar, a customer found by phone number, a deal or ticket in HubSpot, an order status, a page on your website.
Where is my order 48213? The agent reads the orders table and tells the caller it ships Thursday.
Create
Adds something new: a booking, a row for a callback request, a contact with a deal, a support ticket, a draft post.
A new prospect asks for a quote. The agent asks your qualifying questions and creates the contact and a deal.
Update
Changes what is already there: moves an appointment, changes a deal stage, confirms an order, adds a note from the call.
I need to push my appointment to next week. The agent finds the event, offers new times and updates it.
Remove
Cancels, archives or trashes. Only for tools where you ticked it: a read-only tool can never change or delete anything.
Please cancel my appointment. The agent cancels the event, if you allowed cancelling.
Send
Emails a confirmation or forwards a message to your team, from your own mailbox.
Can you send me a confirmation? The agent emails it from your own mailbox.
Security

Your data stays yours

We designed integrations for businesses that care where their customer data goes. The agent does the actions you allowed, on the fields you picked, and nothing else.

Encrypted secrets

Tokens, passwords and keys are stored encrypted, never shown in the app after saving.

Least access

Only the actions you tick and the fields you select. Nothing more.

Test before you save

Run a real test from the wizard and see exactly what the agent will get back.

Every run logged

Each tool run is recorded with its time and result, and errors are flagged for you.

What each app allows, action by action

You decide per tool. A tool set to read only can look things up but can never change or delete anything.

FAQ

Integration questions

Still unsure about something? Ask us directly

Which apps can my AI phone agent connect to?

AutoVator Calendar, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, HubSpot CRM, Airtable, Supabase, NocoDB, MySQL and WordPress, plus Email (SMTP) for sending messages. The built-in AutoVator CRM connects too, with its own tool for each object. If the tool you rely on is not on the list, tell us. Requests from customers decide what we build next.

What is a “tool” exactly?

A tool is one connection that does one job, for example “find a patient by phone number in Google Sheets” or “create a lead in HubSpot”. Keeping one action per tool makes the agent more reliable and makes permissions easy to understand. Need two actions? Create two tools from the same app.

Do I need a developer to connect my apps?

No. The Tools connector is a four-step wizard: choose an app, connect it, pick the data and fields, then review and save. Database connections ask for the usual host, user and password, which whoever set up your database can give you in a minute.

Is it safe to give the agent access to my data?

Connection secrets are stored encrypted. Each tool only gets the permissions you tick, so a read-only tool can never change anything. You can test a connection before saving it, and every run of every tool is logged with its result.

Can the agent send emails or messages?

Yes. Add an Email tool with your own mailbox (Gmail app password, Outlook and Microsoft 365, Yahoo, Zoho, iCloud, SendGrid, Mailgun or any SMTP server) and the agent can send a confirmation or forward a message to your team. WhatsApp message templates can also be sent if you use the WhatsApp Business API.

Give your AI agent something useful to work with

Connect your first app in a few minutes. Start with read-only access if you like, and open up more later.
